Welcome to Balsamroot, one of Washington State's premium wineries, located on the the North Shore of Lake Chelan in the foothills of the North Cascade Mountains. Balsamroot is the first winery in the Lake Chelan valley to use sustainable agriculture in our vineyards, producing grapes through organic methods. We are committed to the environment and named our winery after the indigenous arrowleaf balsamroot, a native wildflower that flourishes on the ground surrounding the vineyard. Like our wines and grapes, we think it represents the best the land has to offer. Nature, sunshine, good times, family and friends: the essence of these are captured in each bottle of Balsamroot wine and returned to you every time you open a bottle. Come visit us!

Our Tasting Room is open from 11 to 5 every day, please click here for additional information. Since we are small, you probably will not find our wine in your local store.
